Sounds like a Japanese food enthusiast's paradise, doesn't it?

Well, a Japanese food paradise can now be found at Ebisboshi Shotengai.

It is on the fourth floor of Iluma shopping mall in Bugis.

It is easily identifiable by its Japanese inspired decorations, with lanterns and mannequins in anime-like costumes all around its dining space.

A total of seven different Japanese dining brands are here to give you a holistic Japanese dining experience.

The Katsumiya stall, which originates from Nagano, is known for its signature tonkatsu (pork cutlet). The shinsyu soba ($7.80 per bowl) - which comes soaked in a flavourful broth - is highly recommended.

The Menya Manpei stall is another one worth checking out.

The spring onion dumplings ($9 for 10 pieces) were delicious.

Of course, desserts are always a must.

The Sweet Brothers stall serve - well, sweet, of course - delights like its name implies.

One dessert that might be familiar to Singaporeans would be the Matcha Kakigouri ($4.80 per bowl), which looks and tastes a lot like our ice kacang.

You may not be in Japan, but this might be as close to it as you get for a well-rounded Japanese dining experience.
