Net pervert sets up new blog amid police probe

HE IS being investigated by the police, but it hasn't stopped him from continuing with his sordid online activities.

Footprints of the online marketer, in his 30s and known better by his moniker nottiboy134, have surfaced online again - just days after he deleted a host of sex-related websites set up earlier.

On Tuesday, a new website, brazenly titled 'SG Notti Boy returns', surfaced on the Internet.

In a write-up on the new website, the website administrator lists, among his targets, 'girls studying in primary school'.

The website owner also announced that his original MSN account, which he had widely broadcast online over the last two years, was 'no longer in use', and that girls would have to chat with him with a newly-set up account.

As of yesterday, the original MSN account the man had been using for the past few years was still active. He was online, but his nickname had been changed to 'SG Good Boy'.

Before The New Paper on Sunday first reported on the man's online activities, on 21Jun, he had been running at least five sex-related websites - including one which showed pictures of scantily clad pre-teen girls accompanied by sexually suggestive captions.

He had called the password-protected site a 'safe haven for primary school girls to express their sexy feelings and naughty thoughts among themselves'.

On his sites, he had also encouraged young girls to chat with him on MSN Messenger. He also set up several accounts on social networking sites to befriend young girls.

A 16-year-old student, who had teamed up with four other friends in an attempt to expose the man online, is now assisting police in their investigations.

In April, he had chatted with the man on two occasions, pretending to be a 12-year-old girl.

At the end of the conversation, he managed to convince the man to give him his handphone number as well as access to the password-protected blog containing the suggestive pictures of children.

He told The New Paper he was surprised the man was still active online.

'He has already been contacted by the police, and yet still is shameless enough to set up a new blog,' the student said.

He added that he felt the man should be banned from using the Internet altogether.

But even then, the man's behaviour, if left unchecked, could be dangerous, he said.

'Even if he were banned from the Internet, he still can continue in real life until he is taken to task,' he said.

One of the student's friends, who also chatted with nottiboy134 pretending to be a young girl, said the man retaliated when he discovered he was being tricked.

He said: 'He gave our MSN Messenger addresses to about 50 strangers, who added us to their contact lists and sent us obscene messages.'

He added that he did not pursue the matter because 'there was nothing much that could be done'.

It seems nottiboy134 has been active online from as early as 2006 on several social networking sites and forums.

Many netizens had posted forum threads cautioning other users against him, while others played online vigilantes, chatting with the man and posting pictures of the man on forum threads and blogs.

One netizen, who calls himself the Blog Inspector, even devoted a blog entry to a 'special report' about the man, complete with pictures of him posing with a child.

The netizen wrote: 'The plan (was) to trick him into believing we were actually interested in him, then make him come out to meet us...

'We'll carry out the mission when we have gathered enough information and have come up with a really good plan to expose the pervert.'

3-MAN TRYST, SEX PILLS AND 1 DEATH

A 26-YEAR-OLD Singaporean man died after taking performance-enhancing drugs during a night of casual sex with two other men.

Mr Brandon Boh Zhuang Min died 16 days after he was found unconscious in the Holland Close flat of a man he had met barely a week earlier, a coroner’s court heard yesterday.

Mr Boh, a catering executive, met German magazine publisher Rene Daniels, 45, on an Internet dating site in late March last year.

Shortly after, on the weekend of April 4, Mr Boh stayed over at Mr Daniels’ home, and the pair had sex.

Three days later, they invited another man known only as Ismail – whom Mr Daniels had also met online – to join them for sex at the Holland Close flat.

While the trio were in the bedroom, Mr Daniels took out four blue pills meant for sexual enhancement, saying he had brought them from Germany. He took two and gave the other two to Mr Boh. Both of them soon felt unwell.

Ismail, whose identity could not be established in the police investigation, left the flat some time after.

Later, Mr Daniels’ friend, Mr Ong Chee Haur, 36, found the duo lying unconscious in separate rooms. Their bodies were hot and dehydrated. He poured water into their mouths and called for an ambulance when he failed to rouse Mr Daniels.

Paramedics found both men foaming at the mouth. They had low blood-sugar levels. After glucose was administered to Mr Daniels, he came to but was still drowsy. Both men were taken to the National University Hospital.

Mr Daniels survived, but Mr Boh remained in critical condition and died on April 23 of pneumonia and swelling in the brain following multiple drug abuse.

Among the drugs found in his system were glibenclamide, used to treat diabetes, and amphetamines. When used without medical supervision, glibenclamide can cause hypoglycaemia (low blood-sugar levels), leading to brain injury.

Police officers found unopened condoms and medication in the bedrooms.

In recording a verdict of misadventure on the death of Mr Boh, State Coroner Victor Yeo said the evidence showed that the two men had knowingly taken the sex enhancement pills, which were very likely counterfeits.

Man jailed over oral sex with underage girl

A MAN who allowed a 15-year-old girl to perform oral sex on him was jailed for eight months on Monday.

Shahrizam Mohamed Asri, 33, admitted to having unnatural sex with the underage girl at a multi-storey carpark at Boon Lay Drive in December 2005.

He was also given a concurrent sentence of seven months' jail for attempted sex with the girl that day.

A Community Court heard that the two became acquainted over the Internet about three months earlier and exchanged phone numbers.

In December, they arranged to meet. He picked her up near her house and drove her to the multi-storey carpark at Boon Lay Drive where the offences occurred.

In April 2006, the victim's aunt received a call from her sister-in-law that she had chanced upon a video clip showing the victim performing oral sex on an unknown man.

The victim admitted it after she was queried. She made a police report on April 12 that year.

A third charge of permitting a 14-year-old girl to perform oral sex on him at another carpark was considered during his sentencing.

He could have been jailed for up to five years and fined up to $10,000 for attempted carnal connection.

For unnatural sex, he could have been jailed for up to 10 years and fined.

Man jailed for threesome sex with underaged girl

A MAN was jailed for two years on Wednesday for having sex with an underage girl, along with an accomplice.

The girl, now 17, had sex with both Zulaimi Karim, 38, and her uncle, aged 36, in 2006 when she was only 14.

Zulaimi, then a taxi driver, admitted to two charges of having sex, together with the 36-year-old accomplice, with the girl at two Geylang hotels in April and June 2006.

Another similar charge of having sex at her uncle's flat was taken into consideration.

Deputy Public Prosecutor Sharmila Sripathy-Shanaz said the girl had engaged in sexual activities with both Zulaimi and her uncle simultaneously. These were organised by the uncle, who has since been jailed for 14 years on seven charges. He is appealing.

On April 26 that year, the uncle took the girl to a hotel in Lorong 22 Geylang where they met Zulaimi.

In the hotel room, the uncle suggested that the victim have sex with Zulaimi.

Initially she refused but eventually relented when her uncle showed his anger at her lack of co-operation.

The DPP said the trio watched a pornographic movie. Then the two men took turns to have sex with the victim.

After sex, Zulaimi gave her $30 and told her to top up her phone card.

The threesome had sex at another hotel in Lorong 22 on June 17.

She made a police report on May 23, 2007.

Zulaimi, who is married with four children, could have been jailed for up to five years and fined up to $10,000 on each charge.

DAD: MY TEEN IS TOO YOUNG

DAUGHTER. 14. HAS SEX WITH BOYFRIEND, 17, DESPITE POLICE REPORTS AGAINST HIM

IT WAS bad enough for this father to find out that his 14-year-old girl had been having sex regularly.

But things got worse.

Even after making a police report and repeatedly warning his daughter's boyfriend, the sexual trysts continued right under his nose.

It all started when the father, David, found out that his daughter had sex with a 17-year-old polytechnic student last November.

The young couple have been together for over a year.

He hit the roof when he found out about it in January.

To protect the identity of the daughter, we are not giving the real names of those involved.

When David, who is in his 40s, first wanted to report the boyfriend to the police, he decided against it to give the boy one more chance.

In the eyes of the law, girls aged between 12 and 14 are considered victims of statutory rape. Cases involving girls below the age of 12 are investigated as rape.

The boy could have been jailed up to 10 years or fined if he had been convicted.

There have been several such cases in the last few months. (See report on facing page.)

David said that he immediately called the couple for a talk when he found out about their trysts.

He said: 'I sat both of them down and told the boy that my daughter is still young and can't make decisions (about sexual relationships).

'I also told him that he's still studying, has no job and can't take care of my daughter. I said I will give him a second chance by not going to the police.'

Jealousy

David said that the boy apologised and promised not to see his daughter anymore. David even informed the boy's parents and told them to control their son.

He said that he would never have found out their secret if not for the jealousy of her boyfriend.

The boyfriend had called David this January and warned him that his daughter was also seeing someone else and that 'they could be doing it'.

David got worried and told him that he'll be sending his daughter for a medical checkup.

He said: 'I also warned him that if I did that, I might also be able to find out if my daughter had sex with him. That was when he confessed and said that he had sex with my daughter last November.'

After that warning, David sent his daughter (now in Secondary 3) to school every day, while his wife took time off daily from work to fetch her home in the afternoon.

David said he tried talking to his daughter but she was non-communicative and didn't want to talk about her relationship with the boyfriend.

Their precautions came to naught.

Their daughter continued to keep in contact with her boyfriend secretly, and even skipped lessons to meet him.

David found out that she had sex again with the boyfriend in January after reading an SMS on her handphone that she had sent to the boyfriend.

Her message said that she was guilty about having sex again and wondered if she could be pregnant. Furious, David made a police report against the boy that month.

He said: 'We're under tremendous stress having to make a living and to guard her. We are very concerned that our daughter might end up pregnant or even get Aids.'

Then something else happened. In February this year, his daughter jumped down from the second floor of their condo and fractured both her arms.

Said David: 'We had locked the main door to prevent her from leaving the house but we didn't know she'd jump out of her bedroom window.

'And even with her fractured arms, she still managed to go to her boyfriend's place.'

The daughter spent two weeks in hospital for her fractured arms and also received psychological help.

The boy, however, was let off with a police warning in March.

Helpless

But even after that police warning, the couple continued to have sex, which infuriated David even more.

He found out from his daughter's blog that the couple had sex again in May this year.

He said: 'I had already warned the guy and reported him to the police. He was let off with a warning but now, he's still having sex with my daughter.

'As a parent, I am really helpless. What can I do? I can't imprison my daughter.'

He said that while his daughter has shown signs of improvement and even wrote an apology letter to her mother, it is still too early to conclude that the problem is over.

David said that he has since made another police report in May. The police said that investigations are ongoing and it's inappropriate to comment at this time.

Former deputy public prosecutor Tan Hee Joek said that generally, the factors that could've been considered on whether to charge the accused would be the age of the accused and the relationship between the accused and the victim.

Mr Tan, now in private practice at Tan See Swan & Co, explained: 'The age of the accused is very important. It would tell you roughly if the victim was taken advantage of by someone older who preys on younger girls.

'But if both of them are teenagers and they do have a close boyfriend-girlfriend relationship, then that would be taken into consideration.'

In such cases, it's not unusual that the accused is let off with a stern warning first, he said.

Said Mr Tan: 'If it happens again, then the authorities might take more serious action against the offender. You can't keep on giving warnings. For the first time, the accused may claim that he didn't know it's serious.

'But after being warned, he can't rely on that as mitigation, especially when he has ignored the warning blatantly.'

'Sex-bribe' lecturer arrested in Malaysia: official

Malaysian anti-graft authorities have arrested a lecturer who is accused of demanding sex and money from students in return for giving them pass grades in exams, a top official said Thursday.

The unnamed university lecturer from Selangor state, described as a foreigner in his 40s, was arrested Wednesday after a 24-year-old student lodged a complaint to the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).

"We are investigating the case. I cannot reveal further details until he is charged in court," the ACC deputy head Abu Kassim Mohamed told AFP.

"We will try to complete our investigation as soon as possible since it involves a foreigner," he added. Abu Kassim did not elaborate.

According to a report in the Star newspaper, the lecturer was said to have approached the victim and told her she did not score a high enough grade in the qualifying exam to continue her Master's degree.

He is then alleged to have demanded sex and money from the student in return for giving her an improved grade, but was refused by the woman, the report added.
